The only species currently recognised in this genus in Africa. Please refer to the genus diagnosis and introduction for more information.

Habitat description

Standing waters in open landscapes. Usually with emergent and aquatic vegetation. From 900 to 1600 m above sea level.

Distribution

confirmed: Angola; Botswana; Zambia
