Habitat description

Streams shaded by forest. Usually with rocks and often a gravelly bottom, probably especially faster sections with submerged roots and/or coarse detritus. From 0 to 1300 m above sea level, but mostly below 800.

confirmed: Côte d'Ivoire; Guinee-Bissau; Liberia; Republic of Guinea; Senegal; Sierra Leone
